To create a network of domains/sites under FreeTradeDomains (hereafter called FTD) where startups, new entrepreneurs, and individuals can have their own domain name, get business and Web site development advice, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) advice, marketing advice, programming help, design help etc. and launch their business without incurring any startup costs.

Because we want to help people to realize their dreams of becoming self-employed as an Internet entrepreneur.

How Does It Work?

We purchase/register a domain name of your choice under your name at no charge to you.
You own the domain name, you get to use it free of charge as long as you remain a member.
We set up the domain for free.
We host your domain on our server free of charge.
If you leave you have to pay the domain name fees since registration ($12 per year (this is for ".com" sites, other top level domains will vary in price up or down) if you want to keep the domain name) and the site hosting fees paid out in the past ($8 per month per site)
If you wish to leave you will be offered the option of hosting your site on our servers for a monthly fee. ($11)
We provide in-depth support for your site development as we have a vested interest in the success of your site.
We provide a Web site page editor to make it easy for you to set up your site. (This is still in development)

How do We make Money?

FTD reserves the right to advertise on every page of every site in the following manner:

1. Two small, 25 X 600 (pixels), menus at the top of every page on the network
2. One 60 X 468 (pixels) banner at the bottom of every page on the network
3. One 468 x 60 (pixels) tower banner on the right side of every page on the network
4. Google AdWords campaigns in tower format on the right side of every page on the network
5. In-context Google AdWords campaigns designed to fit the style of your site's pages and to be unobtrusive and match the content of your pages.
6. In-context ads on keywords to be decided by the FTD admin (limit of 10 per 1000 words)

Policies

1. We do not advertise or host sites disseminating or advocating porn, violence, racism, hate, war, terrorism, religious fanaticism, or any other offensive subject.
2. We strictly enforce the following "No Spam" rules.
   1. Any site caught sending unsolicited email will be removed from the FTD network and from our servers immediately
   2. The owners of such sites will be legally prosecuted to the full extent of the law
   3. The owners of sites removed for violation of the above rules will be responsible for any domain name fees and monthly server rental fees paid on their behalf since registration and will be required to pay these fees immediately.

Right to Modify

FTD Reserves the right to modify these regulations at any time. Notification will be given when modifications are made and every effort will be made to gather your input and adhere to your suggestions and your best interests but the final decision about the implementation of these changes rests with the FTD administration.
